Description

This is an original acrylic based resin textured pastel study I recently did for an art course I am completing in fact this work was the exam! I fixed scanned tones for this work for the sake of print and brought it to look like the original. With only 30 minutes to complete this from a rough acrylic study to finish I'm quite happy with the result. I think.
Ballerina's make beautiful subjects in art, but I don't think I'd try abstracting one again too fast, at least not in one half hour.
There is a far darker enhanced version in this gallery that some may prefer as I treated it more as an HDR image rather than a pastel painting.
