Description
Arum Lily (Zantedeschia Aethiopica) Native to Southern Africa where it grows in usually seasonally damp, sandy or rocky places. Invades wet pasture, gullies, irrigation ditches, rubbish dumps, waterlogged areas, marshes, swamps, creeks, dry coastal & riparian vegetation, temporary & permanent freshwater wetlands, warm temperate rainforest & grasslands. In WA, also occurs in pine plantations, coastal shrublands, Karri forest, Melaleuca & Eucalyptus woodlands, Juncus sedgelands, limestone heath, Acacia shrubland, coastal forest, open shrubland & on swales & dune slopes on highly alkaline sand. In Kenya occurs in wet marshy places to 2 300 m. (Description: www.dpi.vic.gov.au)
